Bangkok, Thailand – November 07-09, 2024 – Thailand Space Week 2024, Southeast Asia’s largest space technology event, opened on November 7 at Impact Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok. The three-day event runs through November 9, featuring collaborations with more than 70 organizations from across the region.
Organized by the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) under Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, the event focuses on the theme “Converging Technologies, Connecting People.”
Key partners include the Cabinet Office of Japan, ISPACE, the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, PTT, Siemens, and THAICOM. The event features several main activities, including the Space Leaders Forum and discussions on ASEAN Space Ecosystems.
Notable sessions include a presentation by IT specialist Ms. Fuenglada on space technology trends for the next decade, along with discussions on financing opportunities in the space sector.
The event aims to establish Thailand as a regional hub for space-related business development while creating new opportunities across ASEAN member states. Sessions run daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
